Lyrics
The great opening
of the internal waiting room

Silent certainty

(Instrumental)

The decline

(Mart Diehl)

So many tears in the glaring sun
So many broken lives taken by a gun
So hard the life for them to go
So bad the chance for me to show
How I feel for their life
How I feel for their pride

So many spoken words fallen down like none
So many chosen ways never will be gone
So wrong the way they want to go
So right the fear they cannot show
They just feel for their life
They just fear for their pride

Everytime I hear you speaking
Everytime I hear your voice
Hear you talking of the problems
Of the aims that you're heading for
I couldn't see you working
Working out a way to go
And I cannot see you trying
Trying when and where to go

You see the fear, you see the pain
But tell me, please, what will you do?
You see the hope, so what they gain?
But is it all the same to you?

Everytime I heard you speaking
Everytime I heard your voice
Heard you talking of the problems
Of your unreachable choice
I've never seen you working
Working out a way to go
You were never really trying
So the decline-plant may grow

Jesterday

(Mart Diehl)

This is the story of an old man
Fighting for freedom as good as he can
This is the tale of a jester
Fighting alone against his oppressor

He lived in a country of synthetic borders
His leaders only gave him the order
To make the people laugh...
He lived in a world of blind politicians
A friendly voice had to be his mission
To delude the leader's laugh...
He lived in a dream of the great solution
But then he woke up to leave his prison
To make the people love...

He was the jester that lived in a lie
He was the puppet with the love-making sigh
He was the jester that lived in a dream
But then he started to scream

Let me out, set me free!
Let freedom be reality!
Let me out, set me free!
I want to live in liberty!

He sat in his arm-chair, was watching T.V.
In Berlin the border was crashed by a dees
Of circumspect men...
He jumped up and went out to see if it's right
But he wasn't able to trust in the sight
They convinced hin then...
He felt his life was not lived for nothing
And his pride began to rise up again
Pride of a lonely man...

Let me out, set me free!
Now freedom is reality!
Let me out, set me free!
We all may live in liberty!

No more a jester living a lie
No more a puppet, but the love-having sigh
No more a jester, reality-dream
He knew that it was good to scream

On Jesterday...

The Mirror

(Gregor Widuch)

Wake up, the sun jeers at you
Slip on your shorts, it is so close
You better stroll around to a hidden place that nobody knows

There is an old arching stony bridge
And by crossing it
I hear a wisper and a murmur
Mixed with a laughter

Stop now!
Listen to the tale the river tells you, teaches you
You better climb beneath the bridge
Drink some water to get wisdom

Me: Hello, my friends, how are you?
First friend: We expected you much earlier
Second friend: Do you know why there's no place for God in this world?
Me: I don't know
All: We don't know what to do this evening
Third friend: Let us drive to Berlin to go to the pictures
Me: When does the show begin?
First friend: I think it starts at four o'clock this night
Me: Okay, have a nice day, I'll see you later
Second friend: See you later
First friend: Good-bye, my friend, good-bye

And now go back to the place, where you once lived
Someone is awaiting you in the gloomy cellar
To advice you, to help you, to protect your life from danger...

The Beauty: Don't drive to Berlin, you will meet with an accident
Me: But what shall I do, I can't last long
Give me you golden amulett, said the Beauty to me...

She opens the amulett, turns the hands quickly
Something happens, defence against defiance
Outside it's getting cold, dark and misty
She gives it to me with reliance
The Beauty: I'm leaving you now, but God will care for you
She becomes transparent and vanishes in the haze

Then a young sympathetic man appears
You can move everything with your mere will
Vast vaculties past of all belief are waiting to be set free
You can move everything with your mere will
I climb upstairs to the chamber of the holy truth
The are 32 pictures waiting to be moved
I try to hypnotize, but that is no use
Even the spider seems to be proved

Back on the balcony autum's gone, winter has come
The world is wrapped up, welded in white snow
Me: What shall I do? I can't last long
The Beauty: Give me your golden amulett

Inside the endless corridor
Leading to the exit door
There's a mirror on the wall
Near the entrance hall
As I look in everything begins to congeal
To freeze to ice, to stand still
Even me, I cannot move, I cannot thrill

You can move everything with your mere will

Punk-a-Santa

The Liar's truth

(Mart Diehl)

Far away in a distant cloud
As the sun came through
An old man stood upon a hill
Looking for a girl like you

The old man tells a lie of times
When all the gold that came from God
Was shared and given back by flesh
From human bodies burned and soiled

Look out, look up, look around
The times have changed for everyone
Look in, look back, look ahead
These times of freedom now are gone

And so the old man stays alive
For that he'll always tell his lie
That no one ever listens to
And so no change may come on you

And if the old man has not died
The gold again will be shared
Only by those who are in force
Of power, money and fearlessness

Look out, look up, look around
The times have changed for everyone
Look in, look back, look ahead
These times of freedom now are gone

Devil's tears

(Mart Diehl)

March in rank in file
Be uniformed and styled
Defence is your belief
Morality what you leave, what you leave

March in rank and file
Be selfish as a child
Conscience without fears
Like a devil with a tear, with a tear

Have you ever seen a devil crying tears in the night
Have you ever seen an army that is not build up to fight
Have you ever seen a soldier picking flowers for his rifle
Have you ever seen a difference between the army
And the devil

March in rank and file
But think just for a while
That enemys may be friends
And persons you'll defend, you'll defend
March in rank and file
But don't forget your child
Will be born to live in war
I know what it's for, what it's for

Have you ever seen a devil crying tears in the night
Have you ever seen an army that is not build up to fight
Have you ever seen a soldier picking flowers for his rifle
Have you ever seen a difference between the army
And the devil
There is no difference
There are no devil's tears
It's not just defence
Even war with it's tears
There is no difference
Between your enemy and you
There is no difference
So Think about it
And decide what is to do

Humane time (Für Elise)

(Mart Diehl)

I want everybody to plant a flower
I want us to believe in love power
I want the old ones to be like children
I want us to share all our burdens

I don't want to have a paradise
I just want the human time to rise
The human time that we forgot to fight for
While we lose out force in struggle and war

Uncertainty, insecurity
Changing to guarantee
Obscurity, anonymity
Passing into honesty

There's more to leave

(Mart Diehl)

Ooh, there's more to leave...

No word left to be spoken
But the blame I have to take
No thing left to be done
But the heart you have to break
This is the time and this is the place
For all that's to do today
This is the heart that you have to break
For all that I need is pain

Ooh, there's more to leave...

Coming closer word by word
We lose the breath to speak
Getting older breath by breath
We lose the words to breathe
That is what we always did
Nothing's wrong, but nothing is right

Ooh, there's more to leave

Now I agree that the game came to an end
But the end is far away from me, from you, from love and pain
Won't you be my yesterday, I know I was wrong
When I thought that I was, but you cannot accept
That I leave this mistake - give me back my sanity
Give me back this heart to break - give me back my liberty
Give me back the choice to make - give me everything
Everything you got from me - give me anything
Anything like memory, give me back my misery
Give me back the pain that I need to set me free
From your lucid chain...

Ooh, there's more to leave...

Dawn for the descendant

(Stefan Wetterau)

Yellow sheep on the horizon
A touch of gold in the sky
Alarming this fateful flock

Purple wind over the hills
Turning clattering mills
Their sigh between the rocks

Ooh, what did they have to go through?

Deep emptiness hurts the gaze
Unnatural silence is filling this maze
Lurid passages without end

The gloomy days are over
This oppressing shroud is gone
But how did it start at all?

Ooh, what did they have to go through?
Did you see someone like me?
Tell me, what made them do what they did?

Even Satan shed a tear
Closed his eyes and turned away
Disappearing behind walls of snow
He was never seen again

Patience became a virtue
Modesty a compulsion
Days as much as perished men
And the heavens promised no release
For the remaining, complaining
But still in hope of seeing blue skies again

He steps out into the light
This perception for the very first time
One of the last decendants
Received the mercy to survive
The mercy to be alive after all

The chance to learn
From the wrongdoings of his race
These wry pictures in his mind
Forever he'll be chased
Chased by the tales the old woman knew

Lost game

(Mart Diehl)

Here I am again
Back in the game
The game you seem to lose
But won in my name

Here I try to stay
Back in your mind
I try to reach in your heart
The place I can find

Love - unknown
Find back - rearrange
Time cannot correct my mistakes
But time has shown what I've done wrong

Here I am today
Back as the same
A child with lonely eyes
Disguised as a man disguised as a man

Love - unknown
Find back - rearrange

Time cannot correct my mistakes
But time has shown what I·ve done wrong
Time cannot correct my mistakes
But time has made me feel strong

Troublous twinkle

(Instrumental)
